Mr. Romano Prodi, former President of the European Commission and former Prime Minister of Italy, visited Shanghai and Beijing from March 7 to 19 as the guest of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA). Ambassador Yang Wenchang, President of CPIFA, met with Mr. Prodi and exchanged views with him on European integration and China-EU relations.
