Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Vanuatu Visits China

At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. Sato Kilman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Commerce, Industry and Tourism of the Republic of Vanuatu, visited Beijing and Tianjin from April 20 to 25, 2010. During his stay, Mr. Kilman delivered a speech at the China-PICs Forum on Eco-tech Cooperation. He also had meetings with Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai and Assistant Commerce Minister Wang Chao respectively. Amb. Chen Yonglong, Vice President of the CPIFA, hosted a dinner in Mr. Kilman’s honor. Both sides exchanged ideas on China-Vanuatu relations, China’s aids to Vanuatu and climate change issues.
