The Saranrom Institute of Foreign Affairs (SIFA) Visits China and Signs a MOU with CPIFA

At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), the SIFA Delegation led by Mr. Surapong Jayanama, Adviser to the Foreign Minister of Thailand and Director of SIFA visited Beijing from May 31 to June 3.
Amb. Yang Wenchang, President of CPIFA, met with Mr. Surapong on June 2. The two sides signed a MOU after meeting. Amb. Cai Jinbiao, Vice-President of CPIFA, and Mr. Heng Xiaojun, Vice-President of China Foreign Affairs University hosted a banquet and met with the delegation respectively.
Mr. Surapong also joined a round-table discussion with scholars and experts from MFA, CASS and former Chinese Ambassadors to Thailand. The two sides exchanged views on China Foreign Policy, Sino-U.S. Relations and Sino-ASEAN Relations.
