At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. Clark T. Randt Jr., Former US Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, visited Beijing from June 18 to 27, 2010. During his stay, Vice Premier Wang Qishan, Chairman Liu Mingkang of the China Banking Regulatory Commission, Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai and  Mr. Zhou Wenzhong, Former Chinese Ambassador to the US met with him respectively. Amb. Yang Wenchang, President of the CPIFA, hosted a dinner in Amb. Randt’s honor. Both sides exchanged ideas on China-US relations, the global financial crisis and other issues of common interest.
