At the invitation of CPIFA, Mr. Andre Azoulay, Cousellor to the King of Morocco and Mrs. Azoulay visited Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou from 22 to 30 November, 2010. In Beijing, Mr. Zhai Jun, Vice Foreign Minister, Mr. Yan Zhaozhu, Chairman of Taihu Culture Forum, and Mr. Cheng Tao, Vice President of CPIFA, met with and held banquets for Mr. Azoulay and his wife. In Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou, the distinguished couple was received by Mr. Sha Hailin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, Mr. Gong Zheng, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Zhenjiang Province, and Mr. Huang Qing, Vice Mayor of the People’s Government of Suzhou City.

       It is Mr. Azoulay’s first visit to China and he was deeply impressed by China’s economic and social development and promised to come back to visit China again. He believed that cultural exchange among countries is beneficial to bridge differences, deepen understanding and promote friendship. He suggests and welcomes China’s assistance to help Morocco set up a tea museum and the two countries can use it as a platform for economic and cultural exchange and cooperation.
