At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. Michael Leavitt, Former US Secretary of Health and Human Services，led a 6-member delegation to visit Beijing from August 5 to 7, 2012. During his stay, Minister Chen Zhu of Health, Vice Minister Wang Chao of Commerce, Commissioner Yin Li of the State Food and Drug Administration met with him respectively. Both sides exchanged views on further strengthening Sino-US collaboration in fields of medical care and public health.
