At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. Woody Goldberg, former Chief of Staff to General Heig Jr. (late former US Secretary of State), and his wife, visited Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing from October 25 to November 6, 2012. During their stay in Beijing, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, Assistant Foreign Minister Zhang Kunsheng and Vice President Lu Shumin of CPIFA, hosted dinners respectively in their honor. Mr. and Mrs. Goldberg also attended the concerts jointly performed by the US Army Band and the Military Band of the People’s Liberation Army of China in Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing.
