From April 18th to 26th, former US Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger visited China. During the visit, President Xi Jinping, Vice President Li Yuanchao, Vice Premier Liu Yandong and State Councilor Yang Jiechi met with him respectively.
       He made this visit at the invitation of China International Institute for Strategic Studies and China Development Bank. Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs assisted in arranging some of the programs of his visit in China.
