At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), a US Congressional Staff Delegation organized by the National Committee on US-China Relations (NCUSCR) visited Beijing and Yunnan from December 8 to 17, 2013. The delegation was mainly composed of district directors of the members of US Congress. During their stay in China, the staffers held discussions with relevant government officials and local business leaders and scholars. The two sides exchanged views on China-US relations, economic and trade cooperation and environmental protection.
