On May 30th, Ambassador WU Hailong, President of CPIFA, met with Dr. Carlos Correa, the new Executive Director of the South Center. The two sides exchanged views on enhancing publicity of the South Center, as well as improving fund-raising capabilities and efficiencies of the Secretariat. 

Ambassador WU expressed his hope that the Secretariat, under the new leadership of Dr. Correa, will help to revitalize the South Center, promote greater unity among developing countries and facilitate the role played by developing countries in global and regional affairs.
