A Senior Delegation of Jewish Organization “B’nai B’rith International” visitedShanghaiand Beijing from May 7 to 11. During its stay in Beijing fromMay 8 to 9, Ambassador ZHAO Weiping, Vice President of Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. CONG Peiwu, Director General of North American and Oceanian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador QI Zhenhong, President of China Institute of International Studies, met with the delegation respectively. The two sides exchanged views on China-US relations, trade issue, China-Israel relations and the situation in the Middle East.

B’nai B’rith International, the Jewish organization with longest history,is a non-governmental organization established in 1843 with branches covering more than 50 countries and its headquarters based in Washington D.C. of the US. This is the first official visit of B’nai B’rith Intentional to China, co-headed by Mr. Charles Kaufman, President of the organization, and Mr. Daniel Mariaschin, CEO and Vice President of the organization.
