On April 24, the 2^nd Yangtze River Delta Middle East Studies Forum, co-sponsored by Zhejiang International Studies University and the Chinese Association of Middle East Studies,was held in Hangzhou.

Nearly 200 experts and scholars from research and higher learning institutions across the country had in-depth discussions on the situation in the Middle East, China's diplomacy and the cooperation between China and the Middle East, while the world is undergoing changes unseen in a century.

Vice President Ou Boqian of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs attended the forum and delivered remarks on China-Middle East Track II Diplomacy at the opening ceremony.
