Hosted by Tsinghua University and co-organized by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs(CPIFA), the 12th World Peace Forum was held in Beijing from July 6 to 7, 2024. Mr. Han Zheng, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. H.E. Yukio Hatoyama, former Prime Minister of Japan, H.E. Dominique de Villepin, former Prime Minister of France, and around 400 distinguished guests including ambassadors of various countries to China, and experts and scholars from home and abroad participated in the forum with the theme being “Improving Global Security Governance: Justice, Unity, and Cooperation.”
