Mr. Timothy Geithner, Former US Secretary of the Treasury and Chairman of Warburg Pincus visited Beijing and Shanghai from May 20th to 22nd. Mr. Yin Li, Party Secretary of Beijing Municipality and Mr. Chen Jining, Party Secretary of Shanghai Municipality met with him respectively. The two sides exchanged views on promoting economic and trade cooperation, enhancing people-to-people exchanges and other issues of common interest. Ambassador Zou Xiaoli, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs attended the meetings.
