On May 27th, Mr. Wang Chao, President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), met with a delegation of inter-parliamentary committee of the Pacific Alliance (Comisión Interparlamentaria de Seguimiento de la Alianza del Pacífico-CISAP) led by its President Miguel Angel Calisto. The two sides had friendly and in-depth exchanges on implementing the outcomes of the Fourth Ministerial Meeting of the China-CELAC Forum, and issues of common concern, such as China-Latin American and Caribbean relations, relations between China and the CISAP member states, etc. CPIFA Vice President Zou Xiaoli and Vice President Zhou Pingjian were present at the meeting. 

This is the first time that CISAP has been invited to China. The delegation consists of members from the Congresses of Chile, Peru, Mexico and Colombia.
