The Second Meeting of the China-U.S. Senior-level Track Two Dialogue Held in Beijing

On June 5, the Second Meeting of the China-U.S. Senior-level Track Two Dialogue was held in Beijing. The Chinese and U.S. delegations chaired respectively by Mr. Wang Chao, Preisdent of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and Mr. Evan Greenberg, Executive Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations (NCUSCR) attended the meeting. The two sides had in-depth discussions on strategic, security, trade and economic issues.
The Chinese delegation includes: Ms. Qiu Yuanping, Former Executive Deputy Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs Leading Group of the CPC Central Committee, Mr. Cui Tiankai, Advisor to the CPIFA Council and Former Chinese Ambassador to the U.S., Mr. Zhu Min, Former Deputy Governor of the People’s Bank of China, Mr. Fang Xinghai, Former Vice Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Mr. Wang Yiming, Former Deputy Minister of the State Council’s Development Research Center, Mr. Yao Qin, Former Deputy Chief of the Office for International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of National Defense, Mr. Zou Xiaoli, Vice President of the CPIFA, Mr. Wu Xinbo, Dean of the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University, and Mr. Li Shimo, Chairman of Chengwei Capital and Founders of Guancha.cn and Beijing Club for International Dialogue.
On the same day, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with the U.S. delegation attending the dialogue.
