The Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs held Open Day Event for African Guests
On August 7, the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) held its first open day event for African guests, welcoming over 20 Cameroonian government officials and executives from major enterprises, who are participating in the“Capacity Building Workshop on the Development of Cameroon’s Bamboo and Rattan Industry” organized by International Center for Bamboo and Rattan (ICBR) under the National Forestry and Grassland Administration.
Guided by CPIFA staff, the Cameroonian guests enthusiastically explored the historical buildings, archives and photo exhibitions. Amb. Zhou Pingjian, Vice President of CPIFA, met with the delegation. The two sides had in-depth discussion and lively exchanges on China-Africa cooperation, China-Cameroon relations and Chinese modernization.
