On August 25, 2025, Mr. Dana White, President and CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and his delegation visited the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) upon invitation. Ambassador Zou Xiaoli, Vice President of CPIFA, held a warm and friendly conversation with Mr. Dana White, and introduced the history of CPIFA and its exchanges with foreign countries. Ambassador Zou expressed his hope that UFC would continue to play an active role in promoting China-U.S. and international sports and people-to-people exchanges. Mr. Dana White said his trip to China has been very successful, and he appreciated China’s long history and splendid culture. He values the significant potential for cooperation between UFC and the Chinese side, and UFC is willing to contribute to promoting sports exchanges and friendship between the two countries.

On August 24, Mr. Dana White and his delegation interacted with Chinese Wushu athletes at the Temple of Heaven Park. Ambassador Zou Xiaoli, Ms. Zhang Yuping, Director General of Wushu Administrative Center of General Administration of Sport of China, and Ms. Zhang Weili, UFC Women’s Strawweight World Champion, participated in the event.
